Know Your Metabolism
Measuring Progress. Awareness tools let you know exactly where you stand. You get to decide which tools to use and how often; just realize awareness is a key part of your success.
Determine physical activity level (if any). Your diet affects exercise, and exercise affects your results, so it's important to understand the truth (reality) of this aspect.
Consider Your Carbohydrate Strategy. Managing carb intake on some level can be a key piece of the weight control puzzle. Get educated and decide if this is an area you want to include in your plan.
Supplements/Meds. You may consider some targeted supplements to assist you in reaching your goals. Also, if you are taking medications, be sure to talk to your doctor about your plans in case any adjustments need to be made.
Psychology/Mind. Your mindset and attitude are very important. It's something you work on during your whole journey.
